We embraced the challenge of transforming a medium-large garden overtaken by nature into an exciting outdoor space. The back needed to be cleared, but not completely, to make space for a new sitting area. However, the client requested a wilder atmosphere for the back. We were asked to create a main dining area closer to the house entrance. A carefully designed path will weave through the garden, connecting the areas and inviting exploration. Here's how our team tamed this garden:

Introduction
Our Design Process
- The garden was cleared and relevelled. Some retaining walls were added where necessary.
- We designed and built a decorative wooden pergola near the home to add another dimension to the composition.
- A path of stepping stones leads to the main feature of the rear garden: a bespoke sitting platform with floating benches surrounding a convertible fireplace. The area is designed to make the clients feel as if they were camping in the middle of the forest.
- Everything is built with quality hardwoods for durability.
